RJD announces Fund III
22 April 2015RJD Partners, the UK lower mid-market private equity investor, has completed a first closing of its third Fund, RJD Private Equity Fund III LP. The target size of the Fund is £150 million and, following the successful first closing, a final closing is expected over the next twelve months.
Investors in the first closing are UK as well as non-UK investors and include those who have supported previous RJD funds as well as investors who are new to RJD funds.
RJD Partners’ focus is on acquiring privately owned UK based businesses in the service sector with enterprise values of between £10 million and £50 million. In January of this year, RJD Partners acquired Burgess Marine in a separately funded deal (press release attached); it is intended that a part of this investment will now be transferred into Fund III and will be the first investment for the new fund.
