Richard is a founding partner of RJD Partners and a member of the Investment Committee.

Richard has previously worked at Touche Ross (now Deloitte) where he qualified as a chartered accountant; Samuel Montagu (now HSBC Investment Bank); Legal & General Ventures; and Royal Bank Private Equity.

Richard is a director of Ipes, ISG Technology, Verdant Leisure and Chemigraphic.

He also led RJD’s successful exits of Teaching Personnel and European Boating Holidays.

Richard leads RJD’s investment activity in the leisure & consumer services sector and has led or been involved with many deals, including the buyouts of Academy Music Group, Emprise Services, GB Holiday Parks, Britax and Hayley Conference Centres. 

Richard graduated from Oxford University in Engineering Science.
