RJD Partners’ (“RJD”) portfolio Company Class Tours Limited (“Class Tours”), a leading provider of immersive language programmes and educational tours to schools in the UK, has appointed Nigel Stout as non-executive chairman.
Nigel has had a highly successful career, having held leadership roles within MPW for over 30 years, for much of that time as its Chief Executive and latterly as its Chairman, developing it in to being one of the most well-known and best regarded brands in the UK private education market. Nigel will work alongside the management team to help realise their expansion plans for the business through the development of new immersive language and other educational programmes and also through complementary acquisitions.
RJD backed the buyout of Class Tours in October 2017 which was led by its Chief Executive, Nigel English, who has overseen the business since founding it in 2008.
Frank Bulman, Partner, RJD Partners: We are delighted to have Nigel Stout on board as the Chairman of Class Tours. We and the management team are looking forward to working closely with him to benefit from his experience and insight to help the business execute its growth strategy.”
